Oh Ah I wanna see ya score a goal...

John Arne Riise, etc, etc. What a goal John scored! But what fragility there was in our defence! Spurs should have kicked our ass with Ledley King not connecting with that header and the player who shall not be named missing that open goal!

Quite simply we need to stiffen our resolve. Ok, we've had two clean sheets, but both times we were lucky not to concede1

Bloody miserable

That was bloody miserable on Sunday, but much as I despise the Chelski scum, it was a wonder goal. But it was sickening to hear commentators refer to Drogba the diver as 'honest'! yeah, good player 'honest' effort, but given some of his antics, surely not honest!

Strangely I'm not too downhearted after the result. Yeah, we're a few points off the pace, but nothing that can't be recovered. And Chelski showed nothing on Sunday that we can't match or better. I know that might seem a bit presumptious, but have faith!

Poll proves a prat again

Ok, there can be little doubt that our defence was crap in yesterday's 3-0 defeat to the toffeenoses. But what was amazing was that Graham Poll was allowed to referee another match in professional football. After the World Cup debacle Poll is back on form screwing up games.

For the first goal, Leon Osman clearly impeded before the ball made its way to Johnson. Before the second goal, Xabi Alonso was wrestled to the ground! And how he missed Hibbert's handball for the penalty shout is amazing in ineptitude.

Ok we were awful, but given the psychological impact of those decisions on the game, Poll's gross incompetence is again costing teams points.

PS - Nice to see Reina is continuing with the policy of giving other teams a goal a game...
