Darkest hour

They say the darkest hour comes before dawn...just hope the five goals we sent in against Fulham wern't a false dawn.

Sure we trotted a little, but in all honesty Fulham played us well for a team struggling in the bottom six. Sure, Robbie scored, sure Nando did too (Crouch's claim over that goal was a little generous...) and even l'il ole Stevie Warnock scored - but let's see us do that consistently!

Looking tired

Defeat to Arsenal, out of Champions League...despair not, we can at least hope to win the FA Cup, but if we don't at least we can sing 'The FA Cup's a Teapot'....whoops that one was okay when in 1977 we still had a European Cup Final to look forward to.

Let's face it the side looks tired and bereft of ideas. The shape, formation and movement is okay, but there is a lack of imagination and will Luis Garcia try to remember that the fancy shit DOES NOT WORK when there are three defenders around you. And can he please remember that when you pass the ball it is meant to go to someone on the same team!

Ho hum...

Well, possession might equal nine tenths of the law, but as in the bedroom, it counts for nothing when you can't score...Oh for a striker that understands that the principle of the game is to stick the ball in between the two white sticks.
