No further action
News reaches us (thanks BBC Radio Five Live) that no further FA action is to be taken against Gerrard and Sissoko following the game against Bolton.First of all, Stevie G allegedly stamped on Kevin Nolan; who promptly admitted it was an accident even if his manager disagreed! Then Sissoko clearly was wrong of a dreadful kick/stamp. Young man (as Cloughie might have said) you got away with that one!
Now on to the FA Cup. Luton. And it is on the BBC live at 5.30 on Saturday night. Dear Rafa, after last year's FA Cup abortion a couple of useful hints: Don't pick Traore; and pick a team that WANTS to win!
